Memorial College of Nursing
Located in Albany, NY, the Memorial College of Nursing is an affiliate of St. Peter’s Health Partners and offers an ADN program that’s ACEN accredited, as well as an LPN advanced placement option. It operates independently on the campus of Maria College. Core pillars of the program are maximizing human well-being, professionalism, a spirit of inquiry, and fine-tuned nursing judgment. There’s an emphasis placed on patient population diversity, and instilling a sense of cultural awareness, sensitivity to specific patient needs, as well as the nurse’s professional identity and inter-team conduct.
There's a small student body, providing students with more one-on-one attention from the school's highly skilled and dedicated faculty. The Memorial College of Nursing fosters a strong and supportive community of prospective nurses, and also provides ample clinical practice as the school is located closely to St. Peter’s Hospital, a large-volume nearby facility. Students may enroll twice a year, in the fall and in the spring.
