University of Missouri-St Louis
The University of Missouri-St. Louis is a public research university that was founded in 1963. They offer a pre-licensure BSN program, an accelerated BSN program, as well as an RN to BSN bridge program. The curriculum is comprised of academic, clinical, and research components. The accelerated BSN program only lasts 12 months, and is ideal for students who have completed a non-nursing bachelor’s degree prior to enrollment. The pre-licensure program is 2 years long, which begins after completing pre-clinical requirements. The bridge program is ideal for busy nurses who are seeking to advance their careers. The entire curriculum is available online, making it a flexible and customizable option. Students may apply to the nursing programs on a rolling basis, dependent upon when they’d like to begin their program.
The UMSL College of Nursing has partnered with local and regional healthcare providers, creating clinical experience opportunities for students and giving them access to cutting-edge technology, as well as lines of communication with individuals who have decades of experience in the nursing field.
