Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is a public institution. The school offers five ACEN accredited programs in the nursing discipline: an ADN program, a Health Care Assistant (HCA) program, a Practical Nursing (PN) program, and LPN to RN hybrid and non-hybrid programs.
The ADN program is designed to help students gain the understanding of holistic patient care that incorporates compassionate care, cultural sensitivity, and adapts to the physiological, psychosocial and spiritual needs of clients. Students will also become familiar with research and critical thinking skills to cultivate reliable clinical judgment.
MGCCC focuses on matriculated the well-rounded, general nurse who is a strong and trustworthy healthcare provider, and is able to be an excellent team member in various healthcare settings.
